Nowdays Lux Occulta makes Avant Garde Death Metal, mixing extremes from all genres through death metal into a unique and absolutely amazing result. Melodic death, trash riffs and suddenly a jazzbreak is what you could expect. This is their first full length album ever made, the lineup almost entirely changed since then but even back then you can hear the influences of a variety of alot of musical genres. This old album is alot more dark toned and black metal rather than the modern death they make today. I definately recommend you seek out 'Architecture' from the album 'The mother and the enemy' for a recent example of what they've grown into.

Lux Occulta used to be one of my favorite bands a few years ago. Still it's really awesome, really dig their Dionysos album, also it's really great what they did with The Mother and the Enemy!
